Welcome to Second Grade!

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! What an exciting year we are going to have. We will begin the year learning about each other, building our classroom community, and learning about the Daily 5- our Literacy Structure to help us become better readers and writers.
This blog will be another form of communication between the classroom and home. I will post updates weekly and hope that it will be come a very useful tool for you to gain information about our daily classroom activities.
